Dr. Krissy Karr

Dr. Krissy Karr is a current postdoctoral resident. She was a pre-doctoral intern with the Oklahoma Sport Psychology Consortium, which includes a rotation at CCW with an emphasis on psychological assessment. She earned her Master's in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited Azusa Pacific University where she is currently on track to graduate with her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in May 2023. Her clinical and research interests include sport and performance psychology, athletic identity, transition out of sport, psychological testing, interpersonal concerns, and relational issues. Her therapeutic approach builds awareness and understanding about how historical events, relationships, and interactions impact emotional wellness and current functioning. Krissy's approach to therapy encourages clients to become insightful about their relationship with themselves and others so that they may enjoy more meaningful relationships and satisfaction in their lives.
