Dr. Igor Kowal is a current postdoctoral resident and previously was a doctoral intern with the Oklahoma Sport Psychology Consortium, which includes a rotation at CCW with an emphasis on psychological assessment. He earned his Master's in Sport Psychology from the California State University, Fresno. Igor is currently working towards his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the APA-accredited University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he is currently on track to graduate in May 2023. His clinical and research interests include sport and performance psychology and mental health in athletes and performers. Igor's approach to therapy encourages clients to become aware of areas in life that are not optimal and learn new coping strategies and skills to optimize all areas of life.
