Anna Kjose, Ph.D. (she/her/hers), is a licensed health service psychologist and approved to practice by the Oklahoma Board of Examiners of Psychologists.  She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.  She completed her pre-doctoral internship from the University of Missouri-Kansas where she provided counseling services at the university’s counseling center which included rotations in psychological assessments, clinic administration, and supervision. Dr. Kjose’s postdoctoral experience and previous clinical position were both in group practice settings where she conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations ranging from children to older adults, as well as counseling services for young adults and adults.

Dr. Kjose is skilled in psychological assessment and evaluations, including administering a wide range of psychological tests for children, adolescents, and adults.  She has also previously worked in a disability resource center and has knowledge on receiving academic accommodations in schools and universities. Dr. Kjose has experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults within a multicultural and contextual lens to address struggles related to anxiety, depression, adjustment, identity concerns, stress, trauma, and grief. Additionally, Dr. Kjose specializes in trauma and resiliency via doctorate work at the University of Oklahoma. She received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and her undergraduate degree in psychology.

In addition to being a licensed psychologist, Dr. Kjose is also a competitive ballroom dancer, involving years of competitive athletic experience, and is currently in training for sport and performance-based psychology.
