Matt draws on a strong foundation of clinical experience, having completed a year-long counseling internship where he supported adolescents and adults managing a variety of mental health concerns. Following his graduate training, he spent two years at a community mental health clinic in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, providing over 3,000 hours of supervised counseling. He is also working to expand his expertise into performance counseling—supporting individuals who want to enhance their performance in areas such as sports, career, relationships, and personal development.
In addition to his clinical background, Matt brings a unique perspective as a former high-level athlete. He was a Division I gymnast at the University of Oklahoma, where he won two NCAA National Championships with the OU Men’s Gymnastics Team and earned a spot on the U.S. National Team. Drawing from his own experience, Matt is especially interested in working with athletes and other high performers to help them reach their full potential mentally, emotionally, and professionally.
Matt is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
