McKenzie Sprowls (she/her) received her training through Oklahoma City University Clinical Psychology Doctoral program and graduated in 2023. Prior to finishing her training, McKenzie completed an APA accredited internship at Munroe-Meyer Institute in their Rural Integrated Care program in Nebraska. 

 

McKenzie has worked with children, adolescents, and their families with a range of presenting problems and concerns including behavioral and developmental disorders, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and illegal sexual behaviors. 

 

McKenzie has received specialized trained in various evidence-based therapy models including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and CBT for Problematic Sexual Behaviors. McKenzie has also been trained in providing the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2nd Edition (ADOS) and the BAYLEY Scales of Infant and Toddler Development (BAYLEY).

 

McKenzie has primarily worked in pediatric aged individuals (infant to 18+) with varying backgrounds, needs, and identities. She received a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in Human Relations with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and a master’s degree from Oklahoma City University in Clinical Psychology in 2020.
