Dr. Brittany M. Riggin (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Health Service Psychologist. Dr. Riggin received her doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. She completed her doctoral internship at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in consortium with the OU Health Science Center. Through her internship she received training with an emphasis in conducting psychological evaluations in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She also worked extensively with Veterans, children, and teenagers in individual and group formats with a history of trauma and received specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Her postdoctoral experience and previous clinical position were both in group practice settings conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations with individuals across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, needs, and identities. She received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma, where she graduated with honors.


Dr. Riggin aspires in the future to increase her time spent working with Veterans outside of the VA hospital setting and pursue additional training and education in the area of disaster psychology.
